BPC-157 Storage, Handling & Reconstitution Guide
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide widely studied in tissue regeneration and cellular repair protocols. Proper storage and reconstitution are essential to preserve peptide integrity.
1. Storage Requirements
- Lyophilised Powder: Store at 2–8°C for short term, or -20°C for up to 24 months. Keep away from direct light and moisture.
- Reconstituted Solution: After adding Bacteriostatic Water, store strictly refrigerated at 2–8°C. Use within 30 days.
2. Reconstitution Protocol
- Clean the top of the BPC-157 vial and Bac Water vial with 70% IPA alcohol prep pads.
- Using a 3ml Luer Lock syringe and 21G draw needle, draw the required volume of Bacteriostatic Water.
- Inject Bac Water slowly along the glass wall of the BPC-157 vial. Do not spray water directly onto peptide powder.
- Gently swirl the vial until fully dissolved. Do not shake vigorously.
3. Recommended Equipment
Maintain laboratory precision using dedicated PeptideKit borosilicate storage cases, sterile insulin syringes, and prep mats.
